frequently asked questions

How does it work?

We begin with an assessment (qEEG brain map) of your brain which is a non-invasive, pain-free procedure. A headband with sensors is placed on your head to measure the level of brain function in each part of the brain. This information is then compiled into an extensive report that our brain specialist reviews with you.

Your brain specialist then designs a neurofeedback training protocol specifically tailored to you. Delivered remotely, our neurofeedback training system allows you to improve your mental performance from anywhere on any schedule. Most of our clients choose a quiet, relaxing place in their home.

Neurofeedback sessions consist of watching YouTube and/or listening to sounds with special sensors placed on the head. Your brain is rewarded (i.e. brightness of the screen) when it is regulating itself in a normal pattern. Training typically lasts 8 weeks and regular check-ins will help you stay on track.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance at this time. However, we:
• accept payments from Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts;
• accept major credit cards
in addition, some of our clients have used carecredit.com, which provides 0 percent financing for 8 to 14 months for medical and health-related procedures not covered by insurance

Who can do a brain map and neurofeedback and why should I do this?

Anyone. It is safe for both children and adults and can drastically improve chronic symptoms associated with a variety of conditions. It is also effective for brain optimization, improved focus, and peak performance. The results are permanent.

Do I need to come to Rochester for your services?

No, we certainly love meeting our clients in person but it is not necessary to come to our offices. Our technology allows us to perform the brain map, assessments, reports of findings, neurofeedback and all follow up appointments virtually. We work with clients throughout United States and internationally.
