qEEG brain mapping
A qEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalogram) is a diagnostic tool that measures electrical activity in the form of brain wave patterns. It is sometimes referred to as “brain mapping.” A qEEG provides insight into how our brains function. It is a non-invasive tool and is helpful in assessing emotions, thinking patterns, stress and anxiety, impulsivity, and cognitive flexibility.
The qEEG report is a comprehensive document that shows areas of the brain that may be dysregulated and connects these areas with the symptoms you may be experiencing. Your Brain Specialist will interpret the report and, if appropriate, will present a recommended treatment plan for Neurofeedback.
